Forming and building partnerships with clients involves collaboration between the consultant and the client organization to ensure that both parties have a clear understanding of the performance issues, projected process, metrics, and requirements necessary for success.

Misalignment of mission, vision, and guiding principles is a common cause of performance issues within organizations. The Business Analysis consists of analyzing the client organization’s mission, vision, guiding principles, and values to ensure alignment at all levels of the organization.

The Performance Analysis considers each level of the organization, as well as the cross-functional processes that exist across the “white space” on the organizational chart. The Performance Analysis is based upon the concept that individual performance directly contributes to process performance, which in turn causes organizational performance.

Simply stated, the Gap Analysis defines the current performance and the desired, exceptional performance in order to define the gap that exists between these two levels.

The Cause Analysis process examines the variables that contribute to performance to identify the cause(s) of performance issues.
Various decision making tools and methods are incorporated to identify the solution that will provide the greatest problem-solving leverage.

The possible interventions are just as numerous and diverse as the types of performance issues that exist within organizations. VSD takes a systemic and systematic view of the cause analysis to partner with the client to determine the best solution set based upon individual circumstances.

Training and non-instructional interventions are each discussed. As a leader in the training development industry we excel in this area, but we also realize that training is the solution to only 15% of the performance issues in the workplace.
VSD also knows that the implementation of any change, large or small, requires a proactive change management and communication plan.

The evaluation stage provides the organization with the data needed to make further decisions in their effort to continue to improve individual, process, and organizational performance.
