Safe Harbor 401K Plan
All employees past their initial 90 day employment probationary period are eligible to enroll in the 401(k) Plan. VSD LLC is ensuring that employees will not have any waiting periods or vesting schedule in the 401(k) program. Employees will be fully vested in the program immediately. VSD will be providing a matching 4% of the employee’s gross salary contribution to the plan.
The "vested" portion of your 401(k) account is the part that is yours and that cannot be forfeited. To better understand, consider that there are two types of 401(k) contributions: the contributions you make and the contributions your employer makes.
